Our client, a prominent player in the data marketing and technology sector, is seeking an exceptional Account Director to lead transformation and drive growth for their clients. As an Account Director at our client, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing client relationships, strategizing customer insights, and leveraging data analytics to help clients achieve their business goals. Reporting to the Group Account Director, this role offers an incredible opportunity to work with ambitious brands and lead a dynamic Client Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and grow client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and growth partner.
  • Anticipate clients' changing needs and explore business development opportunities beneficial to both new and existing clients.
  • Drive strategic planning with clients, identifying opportunities and developing CRM strategies for business results.
  • Create account development plans, align project opportunities with company objectives, and review financial forecasts with senior management.
  • Manage account resources, optimize internal resource use, and balance client priorities with commercial impact.
  • Lead and motivate the account team, providing direction and support for their responsibilities.
  • Ensure high-standard delivery of marketing campaigns, data analysis, and reporting projects.
  • Provide clear objectives and regular appraisals for the Account Management team.
  • Be the voice of the business internally and externally, keeping abreast of industry developments.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years' direct/data marketing experience, preferably with digital and offline datasets.
  • Previous experience in an Account Director or Senior Account Management role with team development and line management.
  • Expertise in Customer Lifecycle strategies, email marketing planning, and best practices.
  • Understanding of sophisticated data marketing techniques and best practice reporting.
  • Knowledge of database development and maintenance processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and budget.
  • Degree level, IDM Diploma, or equivalent qualification.

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager or Account Director, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, manage client accounts, and drive profitability while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client requirements and objectives, translating them into data-driven campaigns and reporting solutions.
  • Proactively suggest new projects or enhancements based on client briefs.
  • Ensure timely execution and delivery of projects within specified costs and resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope and specify project solutions benefiting clients and the company.

  • Familiarity with client/agency working practices and statistical measures.
  • Degree level, IDM Diploma or equivalent and numerate.
