Job Details 

We have an opening for an experienced digital professional with a background in digital marketing and analytics. We are looking for a skilled Digital Web Data Analyst to join a Digital Strategy team, working collaboratively with strategy, content, design, and development teams to deliver industry-leading analytics reporting, insights and industry trends to clients. The role will include project work, regular reporting, and day-to-day insight analysis. You will also be involved in industry and trends analysis, helping to identify potential marketing initiatives and new business offerings. Their clients are broad ranging and include household names and global businesses, such as Ocado, Vodafone, Heineken, Anglo American, British Land and Rolls-Royce.

Key responsibilities are listed below:

  • Define and implement measurement protocols for our clients
  • Perform site and implementation audits of Google Analytics accounts
  • Account configuration across web analytics, particularly Google Analytics (360/GA4) and media analytics platform
  • Work with digital marketing and content specialists to help define reporting frameworks and tagging strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Use Google Analytics (GA360/GA4) to analyse data, interpret key trends and deliver actionable insights to clients
  • Dashboard design and automation to visualise KPI performance for trend spotting and optimisations.
  • Create implementation requirement documents for clients, onsite (Data Layer specifications)
  • Coding solutions or Google Tag Manager solutions
  • Maintain and deploy tags with Google Tag Manager at best practice levels
  • Visualise the data via different platforms (Google Data Studio preferred)
  • Develop the sales and marketing tools and materials that communicate the value proposition and support the selling process. This includes website, brochures, presentations, videos, webinars, events and more to drive demand, visibility and revenue

All applicants should posses

  • You have an analytical and strategic mind
  • Good understanding of digital marketing (SEO, Paid Search, etc.)
  • You have a good grasp of web technologies, in particular Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
  • You can work with Google APIs
  • You can debug using the web browser tools
  • You have at least one year or equivalent experience
  • You have experience of implementing custom variables in GTM aligned to a data layer
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • You work well as part of a multi-discipline team and are comfortable presenting to clients.
